Computing and Me

I had it, I lost it. I had it, I lost it. Just another day with the single worst user interface on the Internet: LinkedIn. If you don’t respond immediately, the thread disappears, never to be found again. Yes, I looked in my activity. Yes, I checked all of my connections. Nada.

So, I don’t get to react to the original posts. There was a thread on “your first pc,” and another: “my bona fides are bigger than yours.” You can find my contribution to both discussions at Computing and Me. Here are the headlines: Bill Gates and I were on the same timesharing computer in high school. I won my third personal computer on Wheel of Fortune. I actually used Windows 1.0.
