Brilliant Meme Mocks Stupidity

There is almost no amount of money I wouldn’t have paid for this cartoon during my decade teaching 8th grade history. I like to imagine it would drive home the point that Benjamin Franklin ¹did not invent electricity, nor, for that matter, did Isaac Newton² invent gravity, nor Joseph Priestly Oxygen. Humor is more memorable than prose.

I also like to imagine that most of my thousand students would know the difference; God knows I tried to help them.
