Brilliant Meme Mocks Stupidity

There is almost no amount of money I wouldn’t have paid for this cartoon during my decade teaching 8th grade history. I like to imagine it would drive home the point that Benjamin Franklin 1did not invent electricity, nor, for that matter, did Isaac Newton2 invent gravity, nor Joseph Priestly Oxygen. Humor is more memorable than prose.

I also like to imagine that most of my thousand students would know the difference; God knows I tried to help them.
